We collaborated with a mission-driven non-profit organization to redesign its website with the goal of increasing community engagement, improving donor conversions, and enhancing accessibility for a wider audience. The existing site was outdated, hard to navigate, and lacked mobile responsiveness, which limited its impact. The new digital experience needed to reflect the organization's values, clearly communicate its mission, and make it easier for users to donate, volunteer, and get involved.

Our process began with a discovery phase, including stakeholder interviews and user behavior analysis to understand audience needs and internal goals. We developed wireframes and a content strategy that prioritized clarity and emotional connection. Using an agile design and development approach, we tested prototypes with real users, gathered feedback, and iterated quickly. Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) were followed to ensure the site was inclusive for all users. Post-launch, we provided training and ongoing support, as well as built-in analytics to track donor journeys, engagement, and content performance.
The primary challenges included outdated UI/UX, poor mobile performance, and unclear navigation that caused friction for users trying to access programs or make donations. Content was scattered across multiple pages, with no clear hierarchy or storytelling structure. Additionally, there was no integration with donation platforms or CRM systems, making campaign tracking and supporter engagement difficult. Budget constraints and limited internal technical resources also required a cost-effective and scalable solution.
